That's exactly how I think and that's why I've been using it like that for so long but 
I've reached the point where I'm running out of ideas as to what to do to improve the 
sound... 

Although I am starting to think that yer right and that I need to be focusing on 
processing the individual sounds rather than fixing a more general problem that may 
not even exist! (my brain hurts!)
