haha. nice that they're enthusiastic at least. but yeah, that sounds
seriously annoying. MCs headlining over DJs? I have NEVER heard of that
before. that's ridiculous!

i *have* noticed that. it's kind of overwhelming sometimes. hehe i don't
understand. I might have like 2 years ago, but now I'm so bored by samey
style shit all the time. The only folk I can stand entire sets of that stuff
with are kemal and rob and sinthetix. I'm sure even they would get to me
after a bit though. I'm deathly afraid of getting pigeonholed into one
style. I admire klute and john b and some of these other heads just cause
they seem to do a bunch of styles. John B especially, every time he's come
to LA he's been pushing an entirely new sound, and even though I didn't
always like it, i had a lot of respect for him breakin the rules and doing
new things. I wish experimenting wasn't such a "scary" thing for some. I
still love me some good tech but it HAS been done before. many MANY times.
