hey, Just wanted to chime in. The g5 is bad ass, but the amd is exactly the same technology. the best thing about the amd chip is that allows 32 bit programs to run on it. and effectively. the g5 does this(i think) but i don't trust apple with this. besides, you can get 2 boxes made with the AMD chip for the price of 1 mac, and i KNOW you can do alot more with 2 boxes than one....besides, native instruments stuff runs better on PC
