I don't think there's any limit to the number of groups you can make, so you can go as complicated as your PC will handle... When making up instruments on Halion/EXS24/Kontakt/Phatmatik etc, can you assign filter types on an individual per sample basis? On my A3000 I can make up drumkits for each midi channel with every sample/loop/slice etc having a different filter with different parameter settings if i want them to (and I often do).... I was just wondering if you can do the same with soft samplers or are you kind of stuck with one filter for each midi channel. I saw that Halion has support for individual parameter settings for each sample (good for drumkits/slices), but it didn't say if this extended to being able to choose a different filter for each sample.
