Greetings,
Running DNews 5.7b1 on Win2K Server. P3 1G, 256M RAM, 250G disk space for
spool.
I am having problems with STATS_IN reporting no articles, even though I
have DADMIN open and it showed significant incoming traffic. So I decided
to bring things down and do a REBUILD_PILES (to clean up the articles in
the piles somewhat) and a REBUILD_INDEX (which I think REBUILD_PILES does
anyway, but...).
When checking the logs, I noticed the following errors in the logs:
17 12:54:58 :error: dnewssrt failed, examine dnewssrt.log Bucket was too
large to sort 200122490>120000000 increase BUCKET_SORT_MAX if you have
enough RAM
Of course, dnewssrt.log basically says exactly the same thing as this
message does.
Problem is, I can't seem to find any documentation on what BUCKET_SORT_MAX
is, nor where (or to what) I should set it. Any ideas?
Tracy
