Sorry, that was un-called for.

Never the less, tightvnc works a hell of a lot better over super low bandwidth links than I've ever managed to get out of RDP or straight remote X. Plus, none of the compressing/caching X proxies have ever worked right, whereas spinning up an x11vnc instance and using tightvnc as a viewer has always been a quick and very efficient way of getting a graphical console on low bandwidth without needing any configuration on the remote end.
