Depending on your plans, I'd say that six netinstalls /can/ be more
efficient than the DVD-installer download - especially when the boxes
don't share the same architecture. I personally would rather start
learning to (caching) proxy, try to share the debs
from /var/cache/apt/archives of your first installation or just clone
the disk.

There are also two specialized packages out there: apt-cacher and
apt-cacher-ng, but I worked with neither of them. At least on the
longer run (updates!), that would certainly save a lot of bandwidth.
