Since you can already do DoT today without an additional DHCP DNS
option and adding that option will indisputably also come with a DoH
URI option too, I would think you would be arguing against any new
DHCP options for consistency.
no, sir. i must have misspoke. i have DoT available, but nothing uses
it, though i am expecting android 9 ("Pie") which dropped yesterday to
start opportunistically doing so. if that's the behaviour we want for
stubs, we should document it instead of adding anything to DHCP.
