Hello DNS experts,
I have made a proposal to mark all filtered out AAAA queries with EDE
code Filtered (17). However codes 15-18 all describe themselves as
per-domain rules. Is there a better code, which could mark this response
related only for given query type? Should similar codes for QTYPEs
should be registred instead? Or maybe wording of those codes should not
suggest they operate on domains level only?
I know BIND9 has similar plugins filter-aaaa and filter-a, but have not
found there any use of EDE. What would be the best answer in your opinion?
