My question was whether there was any harm in removing the delegation. Can anyone think of anything that might break should ip6.int be removed?

P.S. Telling people "historical reasons" for why ip6.int continues to exist in a domain that is (now) explicitly for "intergovernmental organizations" isn't a particularly satisfying response.
