FWIW, when I have documents with many cross references, I follow this procedure to troubleshoot them: 1- Tools -> Update -> Update all 2- Export as PDF 3- Open the PDF and search for the text of the error message for missing links I cannot tell you the exact text at point 3- because I am normally using the Italian build of AOO. It should be something like "Error: link not found" and it should be ``special enough'' to give you few ``false positives'' when you look for it. I hope this helps.
