Don't know where the semicolons came from. They are not in my original
stylesheet !!

I think he meant the semicolons in the xml source, but these should also
be not there, otherwise the parser reports an error. But if I remove them, everything
seems to work. I am using fop 0.20.5RC, but used simplelist myself with 0.20.4 and
it worked, too.
Maybe the error is caused by another thing, for example nesting the list in
a table or something like that?
