Yes, <uri> is a more general name than the ones I suggested (<web> or
<homepage>), but that isn't necessarily a bad thing, since my suggestions
imply an HTTP URI, which may not always be the case.

I think something like that would work. In my case, all I want to do is put
my company's website URL into <address>.

Homepage is a more normal word for this?

I agree with the idea too.
An optional address element.
