I agree.  I just happened to be on that page, and the example was that the
boxes have a header.  I've liked the mod_perl menu design with just the
text in the box, but then the box is very plain looking.  So I was
suggesting a headers.  Maybe just a small stripe of color on the top of the
menu box, I don't know.

Borders?  You mean the lines that show with the light background?  One
though is that we are used to seeing sites with a full width banner across
the top of the page.  Maybe those banners hold the site together, otherwise
it's just a collection of boxes on the screen.

Right.  In other words, I am not the one to ask about design ideas. 

I'll withhold my opinions about design vs. browsers, at this time. ;)
