Why does it make it easier? They are just small examples that will never be separate documentation to be viewed with perldoc. I'm curious. What problem does it solve changing to pod?
Not having to deal with endless HTML escapes (<, >, etc, they're all over the page!)
I like editing POD better than editing HTML.
And we get the little cool bar on the left of examples :)
Not such a big issue really, but I would prefer it of the majority of doc on the site was in POD.
