That's a good reason.  Although I find that sometimes I still have to
escape those in pod, too.

Not when you're in a code sample, and as Stas pointed out, not any more on other places. I was mainly referring to your conf section, which is very confusing now. I like it when it looks nice and clean!

Per Einar, just remember that Pod::POM hasn't been fixed yet.

I know, I know. But it will, right :)
