Hi,

Thanks for the feedback. I'll add Eclipse to the list of dev tools.

Regarding your second comment, about why add beadm as a reference.

I was just getting ready to post a question, asking if we
should remove this appendix. When the Getting Started was first published,
we had a couple more appendices that covered command line, but as
things have developed and changed in the guide, we've removed all but
the beadm section.

The rationale for keeping beadm reference in the book was because there were
some tasks that couldn't be done using Boot Environment Manager. This release,
we've added
more info to the guide about the tool, and since the information that's in this
appendix can be found in man pages, and after talking to a few people,
I'm proposing we remove the beadm command reference appendix for 2009.06

Justification for removal includes these reasons:

- We don't cover other commands in this way in the book, so the section
sort of sticks out like a sore thumb.

- We can't really add more command line references to the book,
due to space issues. Plus, we're trying to make the book
a handy tool that users can pick up to quickly locate information.

- The basic beadm info is already covered in the Managing Boot Environments
chapter.

- Anything in the reference section is also in the man page.

I'd like to get some opinions about removing the reference section in the next
day so, if possible. If it seems like there's agreement, I'll go ahead and
remove the appendix for beadm.

Thanks much for your continued contributions to the documentation efforts.

Nita
