"Points of interests" which directly points to the "kernel sources"

"system libraries"

IMO it may be a good idea to take a look at the Linux kernel page
organisation and grab some ideas from there - developers coming from
Linux will likely first search for the kernel and then for the userland
stuff (cmd, libs) ... and then they may try to figure out where the
Makefile glue for the GNU stuff resides...
