I suggest that we somehow condense the information of the style guide and legal guidelines (when existing) into some form of concise check list or quick start guide for the impatient. The size of the style guide may as well alienate some community members and keep them from contributing, so if we have a short version that includes the #1 things to pay attention to that would probably lower the contribution barrier. A FAQ would be great in the long run, too, since experience shows that not all issues can be resolved with the style guide alone but requires some discussion that often is worth while archiving.
