A slide show or something would be useful, if detailed enough (and in a format that allows saving and replaying at will). One comment I have on that: one thing I've found with vendor slide presentations is that the comments made during the slideshow can be vital to understanding the presentation itself. Thus, you may want to build the presentation in a manner that allows your comments and explanatory detail to be viewable and associated to the correct slide.
The second thing you would need is a clear-cut path to installing the tools a potential contributor would need to use. The various paths to DocBook creation have been confusing and unclear. It took a friend's guidance to get it going the first time for me (with a resultant, "Oh, it's that easy? Why didn't they say so?" comment from me). Since the documentation is going to be in a fairly specific format and style, a clear path to getting there would be a really useful thing. To steal a quote, you want people to get up and running quickly. :-) Rainer This message posted from opensolaris.org
