I personally don't think this is a bug in the AbstractProxyFactory, that is why I am asking for a failing test case that reproduces the issue.
You don't need to go to github to write a failing test case: existing tests are already shipped with doctrine orm, and you can check the implementation of tests under tests/Doctrine/Tests/ORM/Functional/Ticket to see how to write your own. There are also additional instructions in CONTRIBUTING.md.
