Hi Stefan, :-) I did read your entire post, but I must say that I don't really agree with you. For me, the wiki is rather a chaotic place - there's different stuff all over the place. Personally, it reminds me of a hobbyists workshop.
When I download a piece of software, I expect to find the installation instructions on the site. It sounds like you and I have very different thoughts about the expectations for the libreoffice.org website... Maybe it's time to take the temperature of opinion about the content I'm developing there, and see whether I'm doing a job that really has the project's approval. I hate wasted work, and the project should have a website the way it wants. ;-) Please do contribute your comments on the thread I'll start on the website list.
