Hi :) It sounds like Alan still hasn't had an answer to his concerns. It would be nice to deal with those. I tried but my attempt still needs to be confirmed or corrected. No-one else has tried to reassure him that he can focus on his part of the task without having to worry about side-issues.
Also for the issues i raised no-one else knew whether Alan was just duplicating work that had already been done or not. This included Hazel (who had done the original work) and Dan who is also working on documentation for Base. Alan himself seemed uncertain what was going on but was eventually able to confirm that he had been using Hazel's initial translations as one of his starting points. So if i am guilty of not paying attention then so is everyone else on the team and THAT sounds more like a failure to communicate rather than just me being difficult. The result of me "getting into a flap" has been that everyone on the list is no longer so uncertain about what really is going on. That has meant we were able to give suggestions to the new chap person who has expressed interest in getting involved. Again, he has still not been registered. I'm sorry that you see such a tiny flurry of emails as being such chaos instead of seeing the good that resulted from it. Regards from Tom :) On 8 September 2014 01:58, Jean Weber <[email protected]> wrote: > Tom, you cause a lot of chaos and time wasting around here by not paying > attention and then getting into a flap about non existent problems.
