I own a 2000 Dodge Intrepid ES. I had (1) Door Lock Actuator replaced (passenger side rear-door) under warranty some time back. Shortly after the warranty expired I needed to replace another which was the driver side rear-door. Currently the driver side door actuator is starting that buzzing noise when activated to a lock position which is exactly what occurred with the previous actuators mentioned above. I've had an independent technician advise sometimes a spray of WD40 into the opening of the actuator casing may correct the situation and the dealer advises replace the actuator. For those of you that may have had a problem with a door lock actuator I would be very grateful as to how you resolved the problem other than a dealership replacement. Thank you. EJ
