Hi all. 1996 3.5L 170K.
I thought at first that the battery was bad. Upon turning the key, all I'd get was a rapid click-click-click-click and no cranking. Test the battery and all is good. So now I'm thinking 'starter'. So, a few questions to those who might have dealt with this before: 1. How easy is it to get to and remove the starter on the 3.5L? 2. Am I best to go and try to change the solenoid first before bothering with the whole starter? Is there a good way to test it once I get it out to see which it is (solenoid or motor)? 3.
