Hey Connie!
Regarding those headlights that you're talking about: the lenses on my '99
started doing the same thing about three years or four years ago and because my
car was just outside it's new car warranty of 36,000 miles I called Chrysler
and complained stating that a car driven as few a miles as mine was being
driven (I still only have 50,000 after getting my Intrepid new in '99), and
that the car is always garage kept those lenses should've never faded as
quickly as mine did. And they're expensive to replace! Well, after alot of
balking Chrysler agreed to replace the lights if I agreed to pay at least a $50
deductible. I agreed and they were replaced. And I see quite a few Intrepids
with those yellow hazy lens problems but also I think that Ford has a much more
serious problem with those acrylic lenses than we do with our Intrepids.
