My 2000 R/T did this within about a month of me owning it (bought NEW in 2000). The dealer did virtually nothing to fix it. The aftermarket sealer did wonders to hold it in place where it was SUPPOSED to be. No idea why it shrank so fast...

If so, that's pretty common on these cars. The seals shrink over time as they age, and sooner or later they start separating from the doorjamb. There's two things you could do: one is get a factory replacement seal from the dealer. It's not terribly expensive, but it will set you back a few bucks. The other choice is to get 3M brand automotive weatherstripping seal. This probably won't be on the shelf at the local AutoZone, but an auto parts supplier that services local body shops will have it. It's a special adhesive made just for the purpose. I successfully stuck my weatherstripping back on with this stuff, and it was worth the $5 or $7 I spent on it. Make sure you follow the instructions on the package. --Geoff ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Help save the life of a child.
