The airbag light in my 1997 Intrepid ES has been on for several years.
It usually comes on about 5-6 seconds after starting the car and
stays on. The dealer told me a while back it was a spring and wanted
an outrageous amount to replace it. Is the spring inside the steering
wheel package? Would that be resolved if I replaced that package? If
I find one at a wrecking yard, how hard is it to replace?

Thanks
