It's not the inner tie rod bushings. The steering is flawless. The noise is definitely the rack bushings (that attach it to the frame) and the cradle bushings (upper and lower). And the parts are prohibitively expensive. Still waiting to hear back from Jeff Hunter. I think we're going to drive it until the bolts back out enough to cause a wreck, then sue DC for a few million.
And they never got a recall that I have found, but there is a class-action out there somewhere. The thing is, why would they design it so that the tie rods connect at the center of the rack? It's stupid. And it was rushed into design and the maker had an end-connecting design available and DC chose not to use it even though it was a tried and true design and would have fit with no modifications.
