I've had this problem.  The tranny coolers lines sit
very low.  That's why they are a common point of
failure.  If you have a lowered Trep like me it makes
them even that much more of a traget.  Basically I
inspect the lines under the car when doing oil
changes.  If you notice abrasions, cracks, splits, or
that the lines are already coated with red fluid then
I just buy a new set of tranny hoses and replace them.
 New hoses are so much easier to work with than trying
to patch old ones.
