Hi I was wondering if you considered which oil the factory puts in the
engine? Dealerships too. Are oil changes part of a warranty plan?
Since this post expounds the importance of good oil, maybe
sub-standard oil is the issue. It's not a 2.7 but I bought my 1997 w/
3.5L used and put nothing but Castrol in from day one. So far so good.
