Thanks for the reply, we have had the car for about a week and a half now and so far we love it. doing some reading on the net however I am so glad I did not buy a Intrepid powered by the 2.7 V6, from what I am reading these cars are nothing but trouble, even on Ebay there are so many for sale with blown engines and all are powered by the 2.7 V6. The 3.5 appears to be a much better power plant
The 3.5 V6 in my R/T runs very well, it has decent power for a V6 but is NOT fast by any stretch of the imagination, for this to be the performance sedan Chrysler intended they should have installed a V8 or at least offered it as an option. The V6 is ok but does not live up to its R/T badging and I have a hard time believing its claimed near 250 HP I think that is a bit of a stretch . The car rides very well and is comfortable, I love the color ( Inferno Red ) and the styling of this car is also very good .
