I don't have a manual and I'm kinda dumb.  The fuses in the fuse panel on the 
driver side or is it the computer control under the hood?

  Check fuses; my 1996 has a bad habit of blowing a fuse every so often, 
usually 
  the one to the ECM (the computer) and it dies and won't start till you 
  replace it. It's a shot -- cheap if that's the case.
