The problem is that you and I are sharing anecdotes, rather than performing a statistical study. If we had access to the manufacturer warranty data, we would be able to make a decent comparison.
I think about the best comparison we can make is between older vehicles. I still see a lot of AA-bodies (Plymouth Acclaim, Dodge Spirit, Chrysler LeBaron) and AC-bodies (Dodge Dynasty, Chrysler New Yorker) out on the roads. Since none of these are fewer than 11 model years old (AA) or 14 (AC) you can guess something about how well their drivetrains were put together (in this case, the 2.5L/A413, the 3.0L/A604 the 3.3L/A604 and the 3.8L/A604). By comparison, I see very few N-body GM products from that same era around. I think a lot of those got the Quad-4; not 100% certain about that, but whatever it was, a lot of 'em wore out sooner than the competing Chrysler products. --Geoff On 10/12/06, Parker Weatly <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > Thses analogys are always interesting.
