With you advice and that of Jack, you're pointing to an idea! I recently moved
to Nova Scotia and this car is for getting out and exploring the area at the
weekends. Help the car and see the country! Bingo! Pavesa--- On Thu 04/19,

[dodge_intrepid] Re: New 2.7 Owner: Avoiding Engine Problems

Let me add something to the advice already givenbelow: Short trips? Well, I
drive to work everymorning. It takes me 30 minutes. That's not a shorttrip.
Trouble is, it IS a SLOW trip. I rarely exceed40 mph, and my engine RPM stays
low. By aboutWednesday of every week, I'm ready to do some realdriving, so I
head out of town. Get my speed up, myRPM up, and let the car run. Once I'm out
of traffic Iget my foot in it, and feel the power. Racing from onered light to
another (my pet peeve if you're one ofthose people) isn't enough to prevent
sludge buildup. And that's true for any car with any engine. -Craig--- Jack
