Just out of curiosity, how many miles, how good of a condition was it in, was there anything wrong with it -- I have a '96 3.5 as well and, while I'm not looking to sell it quite yet, $1500 is better than I'd get at any dealer, so maybe it's worth a shot. :) But, maybe yours was mint.
