It had 108,000 and change. No rust to speak of, but it desperately needed
brakes after having sit for the winter. Also, one undercarraige transom mount
bolt (one of four big bolts with 2 huge metal washers, and 2 thick rubber
bushings) had to be replaced, but I had 2 spares thanks to the local junkyard.
Power windows/locks. Aftermarket Pioneer Stereo with Kicker speakers. New
water pump and timing belt had been put in prior to parking, and four new
Falken ZE502 tires (with less than 1000 miles on them). So it was in decent
shape to be sure. It had some missing paint on the upper part of the door
trim, and some paint finish had warn off on the passenger rear quarter from
sitting. The fellow that bought it drove an hour and a half to look at it, so
I thought he'd be pretty serious about getting it. He made the whole next step
down offer of $1500 from my $1750 asking price, and I said ok, even though I
figured he would have paid the asking price.
In the end, I feel good that I provided a decent vehicle to someone who will
be using it.

They came, they looked, they bought. $1500. Since we have no need for a second
vehicle right now, I'm glad to see it put to good use, and not have to sit.
Maybe, someday, I'll be able to get another. I'll keep up on the group chat
through ;)
Just out of curiosity, how many miles, how good of a condition was it
in, was there anything wrong with it -- I have a '96 3.5 as well and,
while I'm not looking to sell it quite yet, $1500 is better than I'd get
at any dealer, so maybe it's worth a shot. :) But, maybe yours was mint.
