i have owned a 98 intrepid for several months and for the most part loved it. when i first got it i had trouble with thanx to this site i found out the crankshaft sensor.which was replaced. about a week ago it began to be harder then usual to start.i had read the codes and seen a 340 which according to what i have found say's trouble with the crank sensor.the garage i delt with says no that i need to pay them approx.100 dollars to get the computer cleared. i have tried unhooking the battery over nite with no suscess. i still have trouble getting the car started and the check engine light remains on. any body out there got an idea what i can do???
