now i don't suspose you know where the camshaft sensor is?
or what cost to replace??

According to Allpar.com, a P0340 indicates a bad *camshaft* sensor, not a
crank position sensor. The code will clear on its own when the problem is
resolved. Disconnecting the battery overnight would probably be enough to
remove any codes that were stored; the code reappearing after the computer
was powered back up and the engine started means *you still have a problem*.
$100 to clear codes? Sure it wasn't $100 to diagnose the problem?
