I would get a couple other estimates from privately owed repair shops. Dealers 
are always much higher and not always worth the extra buck.

            Shadetree #2 said that the bushings were worn out. Thanks for the 

reply! You were very helpful. I was thinking that I had to replace the 

whole thing NOT just the bushings. I called the local Dodge dealer and 

he quoted me $575.00 to replace the tie rod ends, saying that if I 

replaced one I should do both and the job would include a front end 

alignment. I'll call back to see what the charge is for just the 

bushing replacement.
