Well our bill to have service and change to 8mm rods was about $3000 from
memory 3 years ago. I have been dealing with Eric Weston for 30+ years now
and always reasonable - he seems to pay too much for freight on little
things if you ask me

when you get the bill it makes you wish you had a fixed pitch prop. which
seem to go forever with minimal or zero cost.

Try and look after the prop - point glider down hill and line up tailwheel
whenever you start up and get it rolling with minimal power. Even Russel
White is really improving at looking after his prop - no chips this trip to
Gulf (last year he drove his brand new prop thru all the gravel he could
find!!!!) We will see if he reads this!!
