Hi Colin,

Our two HK-36 TTC ECO's have Cleveland Disc Brakes P/N 164 24200. In the
service manual it said that the minimum thickness is ...... Imp. 0.167" &
Metric 4.242 mm. I hope this helps. Obviously you need to check that your
Super Dimona has the same Cleveland disc P/N

Subject: [DOG mailing list] Super dimona Disc brakes

The Scout Gliding Club has a Super Dimona and the brake discs are a bit worn.

The good books advise that the brake pads need to be changed at 3.5mm (ours
are still a lot above this) but I can't find any info regarding machining the
discs and the minimum thickness allowable after machining.

I don't need to do anything at this stage but would just like to know what
the requirements are.

  Thanks
