In the service manual it said that the minimum thickness is ...... Imp. 0.167" & Metric 4.242 mm. I hope this helps. Obviously you need to check that your Super Dimona has the same Cleveland disc P/N http://www.parker.com/literature/Aircraft%20Wheel%20 <http://www.parker.com/literature/Aircraft%20Wheel%20&%20Brake%20Division/AW B%20Static%20Files%20for%20Literature/AWBTSG0001-9.pdf> &%20Brake%20Division/AWB%20Static%20Files%20for%20Literature/AWBTSG0001-9.pd f Cheers, Helmut Thompson, Operations Supervisor, Flinders University. The good books advise that the brake pads need to be changed at 3.5mm (ours are still a lot above this) but I can't find any info regarding machining the discs and the minimum thickness allowable after machining. I don't need to do anything at this stage but would just like to know what the requirements are. Thanks C. R.
