In our case, some picked up on an existing piece of material at the banjo fitting under the fuel tank .. blocking it (after getting thru the finger strainer ) It seem that in its non cured state if mixed with petrol, it forms real long polymer strands which will block anything. Diabolical stuff. This poor builder used RTV silicone on his fuel line fittings and a piece of silicone broke free and clogged the fuel transducer which in turn shut down the engine. Unfortunately the pilot stalled the aircraft on approach to an emergency landing with tragic results.
