I had a warning when our throttle became progressively stiffer over a
period of several months. Assiduous lubrication of all accessible pivots
and cable ends didn't help. Instead of pulling the "piano" wire, I
continued to lubricate.
Of course, just before an engine start the wire broke, right in the middle
of the run where lube never did reach.
Easy to fix, works smooth now, inexpensive to do...why oh why didn't I
listen to my machine?
Lesson learned (again), these Dimonas have systems which have seen long
service and should be attentively and proactively maintained.
