Ii am on my 3rd  5 lit FIREFREE88 tub. So far so good

10 years ago I used from Aircraft spruce Koolmat. It is grey silicon and I
seal. End grain of fibre  it works well and is easy to clean.  I used in a
falke where muffler was near cowl and on sides of exhaust risers. If a
crack were to occur then cowl is protected
