Yes to your first question. It has been a while and my Dimona is at my summer home in Montana so I rely on my shoddy old memory. (I am down the road from you in Mesquite.) My recollection is that I disassembled the filter into its pieces, installed the flange on the carb, then reassembled the filter.
As for your third question, I have burned 100LL for the last 15 years. I would be reluctant to burn auto fuel with alcohol as these things were built way before such fuel was common. Who knows about compatability with flex fuel lines, fuel pump and carb internals? At 4 gph and average run times of about 1/3 of flight time or less, fuel is an incidental expense in owning mine. Others will have further insights. Best Michael Stockhill N191BZ On Tue, Nov 5, 2019, 1:56 PM Kurt Redinbaugh <[email protected]> wrote: > > I have H-36 #3660 here in Northern Nevada.
