It’s great to see a response about this.  Orr H36 has a similar prob which was 
simply the front attachment rod end lock nut had “unlocked”. So easily fixed.
We have (reduced to spares) an Australian H36 which was a earlybproduction one 
ex Thai) where we found the wooden block that elevator retaining pin goes thru 
was cracked I can send s pic of it later this week
