One line is to the static in the side of the pitot for the ASI and Altimeter and the other to the total energy probe for the vario. The other line off the vario goes to the bottle. The vario already has a callibrated internal orifice. I don't recall ever seeing any restrictors in any of these lines. I imagine a restrictor would dampen an instrument but also result in more lag. regards Rob
