I've been reviewing the current state of our documentation and am of the opinion that we need to have them available in HTML format, which I feel is better for on-screen reading, as well as our current offering of PDF, which I feel is better for print reading.

Of course, the fact that *I* think that our customers would like it doesn't mean that it's actually the case. Thus, I am asking you:

1. Would you find having documentation available in HTML format (as wells as PDF) useful to you?

2. Would you find having documentation the HTML format used for the PHP and MySQL online manuals, where you can add comments? Personally, I've found that over time, the value of the comments on just about any page of the online PHP docs is far greater than the original page content.

(The MySQL online docs with comments are at:

        http://dev.mysql.com/doc/mysql/en/index.html

and the PHP online docs with comments are at:

        http://www.php.net/manual/en/ )

Let me know, either here on this discussion, or via my e-mail if you'd rather do so privately.
